The Volunteer:

• respects the people he/she comes into contact with, without distinction of age, sex, race, religion, nationality, ideology or wealth.
• acts freely and pursues the commitments and the tasks he/she has undertaken.
• operates when and where he/she is mostly needed, doing what is necessary and not what is most gratifying.
• seeks no benefit from his/her activity. He/she does not accept presents or favors unless of very modest value.
• collaborates with other volunteers and fully takes part in the activities of his/her organization.
• honors government laws and the regulations of his/her organization.
