NVM Relief Camps For IDPs of Malakand Division
Under the instructions of Chairman (NVM) NVM established 8 relief camps at Swabi and Mardan with the help of Special Support Group, Provincial relief commissioner NWFP, and District Administration. 150 IDPs families were accommodated in these camps. 32 NVM volunteers were deployed in these camps.
- Provisions for IDPs at NVM Camps at Swabi & Mardan.
- Cooked food – 3 times meal.
- Non-food Items.
- Sanitation & toilet facilities.
- Sweets, Toys & playing kits for children.
- Trauma Counseling.
- Medical facilities.
NVM Donation Collection Points
NVM established 4 donation collection points at Jinnah Super Market, Aabpara, G-9 Markaz & F-10Jinnah in Islamabad. 12 NVM volunteers were deployed at these points. Clothes, house hold items, medicines, coolers, bed sheets etc were collected at these points. These items were distributed I NVM Relief camps at Swabi and Mardan.
Donations
NVM received substantial donations from philanthropist which include 138 bags of atta (flour), 200 brand new cloths, medicines, 100 pedestal fans, 200 ground sheets, beddings, pillows and some cash donations.
