Module for Seminar on Promotion of Volunteerism
Duration: 2 Hour
Objective of the Seminar:
- To Promote volunteerism among students/youth,
- Inform students about NVM & its activities;
- Inform students about areas of opportunity of voluntary works;
- Registration of students as volunteers; and
- Get to know students interests & capacities for voluntary activities.
Venue: Auditorium of concerned university/ organisation.
Expected participants: 100 and more participants from concerned university/group.
Program:
- Recitation
- Welcome address
- NVM representative will inform students about NVM & highlight details of various voluntary opportunities.
- NVM documentary.
- Speeches of two Guest Speakers on the importance of volunteering and volunteering opportunities.
- Speech by student sharing voluntary experience with the audience.
- Address by representative of hosting organisation.
- Address by Chief Guest
- Informal session with student to identify their interests.
NVM Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and arrange the guest speaker.
- Modest refreshment for the participant.
- Logistical support for the Guest Speakers
- Volunteer registration booth in the university
- Media coverage of the events.
- Multimedia & computer for documentary.
Expectations from the University/Organization:
- To provide auditorium facility & other logistical support.
- Appoints stage secretary for the events.
- Bring in maximum volunteers for the events.
